PROCESS

Used antifreeze is a mixture of water (from 0 to 75%) and mono-, di- and/or
tri-ethylene glycol (from 25 to 100%), polluted by sediment (various kinds of particles produced by wear from the pipes and tanks), deteriorated additives and various other contaminants (oil, petrol etc.).
The physico-chemical treatment consists of removing these pollutants and precipitating the metal by chemical action and successive filtrations.
In addition, thanks to the specific competence of our laboratory, antifreeze can be added once more to yield products with high added value. The end product is used as an antifreeze for various applications (cars, industry etc.).
